Colombia, day 4

Today was our last day in Cartagena.  We decided to take it really easy because Mingli had a hard night.  He kept waking up screaming, and at one point was inconsolable for about an hour.  That was when we finally gave him some infant Advil (I had packed it just in case.  I felt a little silly, but then I was so glad I had it), and he slept the rest of the night.

After Mingli woke up from his morning nap we decided to take him swimming in the hotel swimming pool.  He loves baths so much that we thought he might like swimming as well.  It was definitely a hit.  We started in the little kiddie pool and let him sit and splash, and then moved to the adult pool.  He didn’t care the it was a little cool, he just loved the water.

In the evening we went back to the walled city for a little while and bought some more things.  It was fun to just kind of walk around a bit more and look at things.

For dinner we again went to get crepes and waffles.  This time we went to a fancier crepes and waffles place.  I again ordered a chicken crepe, but this time it came out folded really fancy and had a delicious gravy over it.  Other people ordered some desert crepes that came with ice cream.

After that it was back to the hotel to pack up before heading to Bogota the next day.
